Dear Babaji
Om Namah Shivay
My mind is buzzing with questions. I have been thinking about Your teachings a lot during the past month. Thinking of new ways to bring Truth Simplicity & Love into my life to be able to 'LIVE' what You say. As yet I have not mastered these seemingly easy instructions, but they have me
wondering if they are enough!
As You know there is much going on in the world right now, violences
against humanity and much pain etc. Are these instructions enough to heal all of this. Or is this not part of the plan? I'm trying hard to embrace what
You are teaching everyone. Is Your message the magic formula that will help heal the world and small-fry like me? If I follow TSL etc is it possible to heal all karmas in this lifetime, in this body?
I have also been thinking about the 'REAL' thing. You have said in the past that You have come to give, but few ask for what You have come to give. Or recently You wrote.' I am only here to give. You need only ask. But ask for the Real. Are you ready to do that? Open your Heart, now, and receive the Real.'
What is the 'REAL', and can I have some please!! (hee hee, if only it were that easy!) I used to think I knew what You were trying to give, I thought it was God & enlightenment and spiritual advancement and the like, but now I not so sure.Is that what it's all about, spiritual advancement. I don't know anymore where to aim my arrow: being human? Not being attached? Go for spiritual goals?
I know too many questions. However a bit of light shed on any or all of these questions, I hope will help me map out a direction to proceed with living inner
goals.
Lots of Love and Thanks.
L.
P.S If all you have to do is... ask, then go for it, open my heart and help me receive what is Real.
Babajis reply:
Blessings:
You have not mastered Truth, Simplicity, Love, and you ask, is there more, is
this enough? Who is asking is there more? All human problems, all scientific
problems, are ultimately answered in simplicity. The scientists study long
and hard, develop complex equipment, only to realize that the whole Universe can be explained in one simple mathematical equation. But I have given you the translation of this equation. Truth, Simplicity, Love. Study it. Live it.
Apply it to the problems of humanity.

The Universe of the Creator has its own rhythm and vibration of light like a beat that is within the fabric of everything as a bond that unifies
energies. As light and energy can be extended from the soul of the Creator to create different aspects and forms, so the rhythm of the universe
can be broken down to create new rhythms which have a purpose that is formed by the soul of the Creator. The Earth has its own rhythm, when you
activate your senses to a certain degree or level of growth then you are able to hear and feel this rhythm which can sound akin to a melody
pulsating through and around the Earth. From this melody which is unique to the Earth new melodies are formed, these melodies are formed to
sustain the existence of the nature worlds, humanity and everything that manifests physically and spiritually on the Earth. Each person has
a snap shot of the Earth's complete rhythm, while the Earth's complete rhythm is a small section of the Creator's complete rhythm. As a person
opens to the light of the Creator and begins to sense the manifestations of the Creator's soul then they achieve a new level of integration,
integration could be seen as the adoption or blending of new rhythms and melodies in order to hold a larger section of the Creator's complete
melody. The Creator's rhythm can also be experienced as light but it is a pulsating energy which manifests as a distinctive sound, it could be
compared to the heart beat of the Creator. If you imagine that you are the Creator and you hold your own heart beat, as you extend your energies
into your surroundings you are distributing small sections of the sound of your heart beat which then manifest as extensions of your soul as you
exist as the Creator. This is how the Creator's universe was shaped as a sanctuary for the Creator and us as soul aspects of the Creator to evolve,
accept and learn. With this explanation we gain the understanding that ascension or spiritual advancement and integration is a process of blending
the many sections of the Creator's rhythm or heart beat in order to access a greater link with our essence, the Creator.
The rhythm of the Creator is essential to our reality whether we are in existence on the Earth or on the inner planes. As spirit beings on the inner
planes we are guided to accept, integrate and listen to the rhythm of the level of energy that we are working with. For example, as you make the
transition between a physical being on the Earth and a spiritual being on the inner planes you begin to awaken or accept the planetary level energy
of the Creator's universe, releasing its rhythm and using this unique beat to support your growth at this level. As physical beings you hold a small
fragment of the rhythm of the Earth which will build and develop due to your spiritual advancement, making it easier for you to view and understand
the truth of the Creator. A combination of rhythms when blended may only manifest one sound, note or tone but this will be sufficient to support and
encourage further growth.
We have stated that the rhythm of the Creator is the essence of the Creator; this means that it is immensely healing, rejuvenating, uplifting and
balancing. Even the small aspect of the Creator's rhythm which you have held since your manifestation on the Earth is healing to you and when
activated or balanced allows you to exist as the highest vibration of health, intellect and spiritual alignment that is possible at this level.
Sometimes due to experiences and challenges the rhythm within you can become tainted or pushed off balance hindering you from existing at your
highest positive state. The Earth and Mother Earth can experience this also, due to pain, negative emotions or thoughts, the Earth's rhythm can
become slow which causes the Earth, nature kingdoms and even humanity to feel depleted. In the past the Earth's rhythm began to slow which was
causing many problems for all on the Earth but several Galactic Masters stepped forth to begin to re activate the Earth's rhythm and re build
the Earth's connections with the Creator. This activation is a gradually process and is continuing to this day, it is one of the reasons that
time on the Earth seems to have quickened in the minds of humanity. As the rhythm of the Earth begins to become balanced once more it anchors
greater life force energy and light to aid renewal for all. It will take time for the natural rhythm of the Earth to begin to pulsate all
around the Earth because it is having to merge with physical matter and settle within the energies of the Earth, to hurry this process would
be to put the journeys of many in danger as it would cause much upset.
In summarizing our explanation, we have shared with you that not only do you have the constant beat of your physical heart but you also have
a beat or rhythm which is anchored into your soul and spiritual energies but is also held within your physical body. This rhythm is your essence
and when pulsating free from disruption it can allow you to exist as the highest potential of your being and energy. The Earth also holds a
spiritual heart beat which has been disrupted but is now being restored in order to heal the Earth and rejuvenate all forms of existence on
the Earth. With this understanding placed or reawakened within your consciousness we wish to bring forth a meditation that will allow you to
activate and balance your natural Creator rhythm and that of the Earth to aid development and to begin to manifest the possibility of all
including the Earth existing at the highest positive state.

Practicing Aloha

In the spirit of the holiday season, Dee and I went to a liquor store to purchase a gift of wine for a friend. There we asked the store
owner, a congenial fellow named Ali, for some recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Ali is a world-class wine expert.
He went into fascinating, poetic details about each wine, describing its subtlest nuances and mesmerizing us with stories about the history
of each winery, some of which went back over a thousand years. I was rapt.
Finally I commented, "I guess all wines have a story."
Ali smiled and shook his head. "Not exactly," he replied. "All good wines have a story."
His comment got me thinking about the stories we tell. Some stories are worth telling and others are not worth telling. Some stories empower
us and others disempower us. Which of your stories bring you life and which deaden you? The end of this year might be a good time to decide
which stories you want to leave behind and which you would like to take into the new year and amplify. One of the most powerful exercises I have
ever done in a seminar was to ask the participants, "What story are you ready to let go of, and what story are you willing to have take its place?"
The answers were quite revealing: Participants declared they were ready to let go of their victim and abuse stories; poverty, lack, and struggle;
loveless relationships; fear, resistance, and many variations on "poor me." In their stead they were ready to tell new stories of living with
conscious intention; relationships that yield reward and joy; abundance and success; trust, flow, and creativity; and "blessed me."
Every time you tell a story, you reinforce the feelings and experience associated with the story; you amplify the themes in your consciousness;
and you increase the chances of a similar story repeating itself in your world. That is quite enough reason to carefully choose the stories you tell.
If you find yourself telling a story that is taking you to a place you would rather not revisit, stop and consider what story might effectively
replace it. I patronize a video store that has a computer program that alerts the clerk if I am about to check out a video I have already rented.
The clerk asks me, "Are you aware that you've already watched this video?" If it was a good video and I want to see it again, I proceed with the
checkout. If I remember that I didn't really like the movie, I send it back to the shelf and pick out another one. How helpful would it be if
you and I had a little computer program in our head that reminded us, "You have already told this story. Are you sure you want to tell it again?"
Many of us keep telling non-productive stories because we get perceived mileage out of them. They do not bring us reward, but they are familiar
and we build a presentation and identity around them. One of the movies I have checked out several times is The Heartbreak Kid (1972 version with
Charles Grodin). In the film, Lenny has a canned spiel he gives most people to impress them. "I think it's time we quit taking from the earth and
we started giving back to it." A good idea, for sure, but for Lenny it is purely hot air.
Over the course of his journey, Lenny impresses a number of folks with his rap, to the point that he manipulates to marry the girl he has been
pursuing. In the final scene of the film we see Lenny at his wedding reception, sitting on a couch with a couple of eight-year-old kids. "I think
it's time we quit taking from the earth and we started giving back to it," he tells them. The kids simply roll their eyes, get up, and walk away.
Like many children, they live too close to truth to be impressed by a hollow story.
Holiday gatherings offer great opportunities to be at choice about the stories you tell and listen to. What a wonderful season this will be if you
use it to tell a new story! You can turn around lifetime patterns of negative conversation by pointing your story in a new direction. You may
discover that no one is too old or too stuck to get a new story. Bill, a carpenter who works at my house from time to time, is a straight-arrow
kind of guy. A military retiree, Bill is a devoted family man and conservative in many ways. Last week Bill told me that, due to a health crisis,
his wife picked up a book on spiritual healing. She got really excited about it, and so did Bill. As we stood in my back yard, Bill went into a long
discourse about how spiritual healing works. Although I have understood (and taught) these principles over many years, I listened fervently,
absolutely impressed by the new life Bill had discovered. He got a new and better story, and he is loving it!
Rather than wishing you a traditional holiday greeting, I wish you a good story. I wish that the most wonderful aspects of your current story
expand, and if you have any painful or empty stories, that you find new ones to launch you into a new year. May your new year place you smack
dab in the middle of the greatest story you have ever told.

I was listening to a Coast to Coast radio show and I have to relate a story by an MD who was commenting on the
Quantum side of things. She presently works out of Tucson, Arizona, but did many years in Manhattan and Harlem hospital
ER's...heavy, heavy duty.
She talked about working on a code blue of a child (I'll do my best to paraphrase her experience).
She said, There comes a time, an arbitrary time, when you know you've done all you can. I usually take my cue from the nurses
and other ancillary help, as it's easy to blend what is heroic with what becomes just plain torture. We had worked on this child
of 4 years of age for about 43 minutes, when one of the nurses said, "Doctor", don't you think it's time to give up? I think we've
done all we can." I took that cue and thanked everyone there for their strong effort and help, and
instructed the RN to get the parents, so I could tell them the terrible news. Everyone left the room, and I looked down at those precious golden
curls.
In my arrogance (those are the MD's very words)...in my arrogance as I leaned over the child's body I said, "Lord, I have never
lost a child!!!" At that instant I felt a little hand reach up and yank the ET tube out of her mouth and start crying."
This stuff is powerful! Very powerful!

As Heinz Pagels puts it, "Human intention influences the structure of the physical world," which is not a picture of the real, but a creation
deriving from our interactions with it.
Professor Irving Wolfe
What science produces is neither universally true nor real, but is created by the observer and is relative to his predispositions and equipment.
As a result, it is not complete but selected, not objective but subjective, and not unique but partial.
This produces an observer-created reality, says physicist Roger Jones, in which "the observer and observed ... cannot be broken down into independent
components" because "the observer has an uncontrollable and non-removable effect on what is observed."
Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a
structure which has no relation to reality"
Nikola Tesla
The result, according to physicist Arthur March, is that "what is perceived is....the effects brought to light by this procedure," effects which
"are created by this process." This means that the scientist each time he observes creates something new, for, as physicist John Wheeler says,
"this is a participatory universe."
The scientific observation is therefore less a picture of reality than a sort of mirror in which the observer sees himself, which makes the
physical world a product of human consciousness. To physicist Fred Wolf, when we look at the universe "We are looking at ourselves," and to
Garry Zukav "we cannot eliminate ourselves from the picture....physics is the study of the structure of consciousness."
"We can only see nature blurred by the clouds of dust we ourselves make," says physicist Sir James Jeans, for whom for instance a rainbow is not
an independent object up in the sky but a subjective creation in the observer's mind: "Each man's rainbow is a selection from his own eyes ... from
an objective reality which is not a rainbow at all."
The creation of scientific data is therefore caused mainly by two factors. The first is the equipment used, which influences how the data is created.
As John Wheeler says, "When we change the observing equipment...We have...A phenomenon that is new," and second, by the pre-existent mental constructs
of the observer, which influence how the data is interpreted. That is why Jeans says that the attributes we give to physical objects are "mere
articles of clothing...draped over the mathematical symbols; they did not belong to the world of reality."
To Einstein "Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live." Scientific theory is therefore neither absolute nor
correct, but a compromise which "shows us something about reality in the only way we can get at reality."
Similarly, David Bohm speaks of energy streaming from both the observer and the observed. "The phenomena are the result of the intersection...from
the same reality," but it "has no clear meaning" because what is unambiguous is misleading and only "the ambiguous is the reality." These specialists
insist that in science the observer is omnipresent, which led physicist and astronomer Arthur Eddington to the astonishing assertion that, in science,
"the mind has by its selective power fitted the processes of Nature into...a pattern largely of its own choosing; and in the discovery of this system
of law the mind may be regarded as regaining from Nature that which the mind has put into Nature."
Proof is therefore circular in science, with events being considered real only if they correspond to what we already believe. To Jeans the laws of
science "are a description, not of nature, but of the human questionings of nature," and they "tell us nothing about nature, but only something about
our own mental processes."
Similarly, physicist Heinz Pagels asks, "Are theories 'out there'?" and answers "I don't think so. Theories are inventions," while physicist Werner
Heisenberg puts it much more simply: "Science is made by men."
In addition, scientific language, whether mathematical or lexical, suffers from the same defects, it is not real but only a "symbolic means of
representing the world," "a dangerous instrument to use," "a symbol definable only in terms of other symbols." Opinions about reality therefore
exist only in the scientist's mind and "need not," in Jean's words, "resemble the objects in which they originate," and therefore "it is no longer
objective nature itself but nature in relation to the human observer that becomes the material studied by physics."
On top of that, the scientific report is also a fabrication, for it does not describe what happened but what should have happened and makes no
reference to feelings or trial and error. To analysts Broad and Wade the "scientific paper is as stylized as a sonnet" and its framework "is a
fiction designed to perpetuate a myth." It is also socially conditioned, riddled with personality and culturally relative, which is why Schlegel
says that "science is altogether a human activity," while Karl Popper adds that in science "the authority of truth is the authority of society."
All the steps in the process called science are colored by the human touch.
These insights led Einstein to the belief that, with the exception of the measurement of the speed of light in a vacuum, every observation is
inescapably conditioned by the observer's frame of reference. It led Niels Bohr to his principle of complementarity, (that no single observation
can contain all the possible descriptions of a phenomenon), and it led Werner Heisenberg to his uncertainty relation, which states that not all
the properties of a subatomic object can be fully investigated by one observation at the same time.
To these men scientific knowledge is severely limited or created and subjective, which led Eddington to doubt the reality which science creates.
To him, what he calls the "external world" is a human artifact, a structure created as "an answer to a particular problem," and "We refuse to
contemplate the awful contingency that the external world, after all our care in arriving at it, might be disqualified by failing to exist."
For these reasons both David Bohm and Niels Bohr see the creation of science as similar to the creation of poetry, and Roger Jones insists that,
in science, "whatever it is that we are describing, the human mind cannot be parted from it."
What these men are saying is that, surprisingly, human involvement is the most influential tool of science and we can therefore never know what
the world is like in itself apart from us as observers. "Physics," says Eddington, "is a world contemplated from within...What the world might be
deemed like if probed in some supernatural manner by appliances not furnished by itself we do not profess to know." What is left for science,
therefore, is to talk about what it sees. That is all that science is.
Einstein believed that in today's science "there is no ultimate theory, no...ultimate fact about the stuff the world is made of," there is only
talk, which is why Einstein said that "physical concepts are free creations of the human mind." This was forcefully reiterated by Harvard astrophysicist
Bruce Gregory, who said that in science "What is real is what we regularly talk about" and therefore "When we create a new way of talking about the
world, we naturally create a new world."
Physics is a conversation about nature, says Gregory, or, as Bohr put it, "It is wrong to think that the task of physics is to find out how nature
is. Physics concerns only what we can say about nature." I close therefore with Schlegel's provocative statement that "The natural world is not so
much a fixed structure, waiting to be symbolically reproduced in our science, as it is a complex source of experience which can be described in
various and alternative ways."
That is the best that the scientific investigation of nature can achieve. It can get no closer to reality than that because in science, to use Bohm's
felicitous phrase, "the observer is the observed." Science can yield accurate phenomenological data of the act of observation, but has no tools with
which to perceive the ultimate reality that underlies the phenomena, a reality of which, to quote French physicist Bernard d'Espagnat, science can get
only "fleeting reflections."
As physicist Fred Wolf put it, "the whole universe comes into existence whenever we observe it" and therefore "we are the artists in the game of the
universe." More than that, the universes which we create depend not only upon our choices of observation but also upon the order in which we carry
them out, and it is therefore our choices and our sequence of analysis which "create the alternative possibilities as realities."
To Wolf, as a result, scientific "reality is a matter of choice" and "the real is mainly determined by thought...The world we live in depends on the
pictures of that world we paint in our minds" and how we paint it is determined by desire.
As Heinz Pagels puts it, "Human intention influences the structure of the physical world," which is not a picture of the real, but a creation deriving
from our interactions with it.
As a consequence, fundamental matter becomes to us a fluid, varying, imprecise, uncertain and unmeasurable realm and we cannot discover if there is
anything more graspable beneath. That is the only kind of knowledge about the fundamental universe available to us with our present methods, and our
ultimate knowledge of any branch of science turns out to be equally imprecise and uncertain. In all of its fields we have derived many partial
subjective truths but no fundamental ones, nor is there the prospect of any. There is nothing but ignorance.
Excerpts from a speech given to the 1994 Velikovsky Symposium.
Sometimes the smallest things can have the largest effects. Learning a simple task like controlling your breath will make a world of difference
on your level of stress, anxiety, pain, and overall health. Think about it, whenever we become nervous, tense, or are experiencing a pain
attack, we hyperventilate. Our breathing patterns become deep and fast, the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide we have gets out of balance.
This pattern not only adds to our anxiety level, but if this happens often, it will take its toll on our bodies. Also during times of
hyperventilation, our hands and feet could tingle, the blood flow to our brain is restricted, and our airway passages could inflame,
all because of the low levels of carbon dioxide. Like we really need any more added stress on our bodies in the first place.
Learning to control your breath will not only help Fibro patients, but it can others as well.
Breath control therapy can help people with problems such as:
* Fibromyalgia
* Chronic and acute pain
* Asthma
* Depression and low self esteem
* Unhealthy relationships
* Stress and anxiety
* Respiratory issues
* Headaches
* Recovering trauma patients
* High blood pressure
* Eating disorders
* Drug and alcohol recovery
* Singers
* Runners and other athletes
Benefits of learning to control your breathing include:
* Healthier body
* Increased energy levels
* Stress and anxiety reduction
* Positive body image
* Controlling your anger and irritability
* Better sense of spiritual awareness
* Overall better sense of well-being
Breathing, sounds simple right? Well, it takes a bit of exercise to get the hang of it, especially when you are in pain or stressed. To
learn how to control your breathing, no matter how you feel, is a real skill.
Heres a few different ways to practice controlling your breathing:
Cool air in- Warm air out
Practice when you most relaxed (I usually do it before I go to sleep at night).
Lie down or sit in a comfortable position, if you can.
(a knotted yoga position is not necessary)
Close your eyes
Take a slow and deep breath in through your nose.
Concentrate on the cool air coming in through your nostrils.
Hold your breathe a few seconds.
Breathe out slowly, evenly, and quietly through your nose.
Pay attention how warm the air is as it exits your nose.
Do this for a few moments until all your cares wash away- or for me, until I fall asleep.
Shallow breathing for long periods of time causes your chest and shoulders to tighten up. When you breathe really shallow, you are breathing
from your upper chest and not from your diaphragm.
Here is another way to practice controlling your breath, which I learned from when I sang:
Lay down, with a pillow under your neck for support.
Place one hand flat on your chest.
Place one hand flat on your abdomen. (right bellow your rib cage)
As you breathe, watch the movement of your hands.
If your chest hand is moving, you are breathing shallow. As you take in your next breath, concentrate on making the hand on your belly move.
Make sure to take slow deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Note: When I was singing, I used to place books on my abdomen (right on my diaphragm) instead of my hand. However, I would not recommend it as
a relaxation technique.
Heres a meditation YouTube relaxation to listen to while you practice your new breathing techniques: Simple Relaxation, a Guided Meditation
